The national epidemic of butts too big for hypodermic needles to penetrate not only remains on the LA Times most e-mailed list for a record breaking fourth day - but yet again this morning, it slides through the back door back up from yesterday's number three spot back, yes, back up - into the number two spot! Can reclaiming the number one spot once again be far...behind?

CHICAGO -- Fatter rear ends are causing many drug injections to miss their mark, requiring longer needles to reach buttock muscle, researchers said today.Standard-sized needles failed to reach the buttock muscle in 23 out of 25 women whose rears were examined after what was supposed to be an intramuscular injection of a drug.
Unlike all my lesser peers (which pretty much includes... everyone), I originally resisted commenting on this story in a serious - but never again to be repeated - lapse of good taste, but - as it has turned out - this has simply become just too big a spreading story to ignore. And as for all you who are just... bursting... to keep reading this story over and over again - you all know who you are!
Well... actually... we ALL know who you are, but normally we're just too polite to say anything about it.
those needles never seem to penetrate my big butt.
ReplyDeleteMust be the quality of the needles if you ask me. MIght not be that the butts are bigger but harder
oops!!
ReplyDeleteI meant to say those needles seem to penetrate my big butt quite well
