It's Freakin' 8 AM - And The LA Times STILL Does NOT Have The Election Results Everyone Else Has Had For Hours!

What would be awesome is if the general populace, and I include myself there, actually knew what the people in these positions did; what their job was.

I got about ten different pieces of mail from Tamar Galatzan's campaign and still have no idea what a member of the board of education does. I do however know that Tamar has some preschool kids, that she was a prosecutor, that the Mayor supported her, and that some of her mail was signed by 8 or 10 teachers.

For a seat on the Board of Education, the campaigning was awfully negative. A little bit more informative would've been helpful. Not like the LA times really helped on that one.
