Four Music & Theater Events This Week in Downtown LA

With all that is going on in Downtown LA these days, it's become impossible to know everything that is happening and I am continuously finding out something that happened - the day or night after it happened. Not that I would have likely been able to find the time to have gone - but it would have been nice to have had that option.  So I am going to start posting some of the calendars and lists other people are putting out on things to do it DTLA

For a start, in the Downtown News, Dan Johnson weekly lists arts and entertainment events and four of the five events he lists have yet to happen.   And two of them are -  free.  So if you are interested in free music ( Los Angeles fusion septet Ozomatli, La Santa Cecilia, I See Hawks in L.A. and the Petrojvic Blasting Company) or electronic music ( Knife Party, Duck Sauce, Dog Blood, Flying Lotus, Justice, Bassnectar and many, many, many more) or theater (REDCAT's  New Original Works Festival) or drumming Drum Downtown at the Grand Avenue Park)  - check out his column this week.
