Tonight the gutted remains of the long defunct Billy's Cafe and Grill at 5th and Main's Rosslyn Hotel hosted the Korean Traditional Theater Institute and their percussion, dance and song blessing of Imo's soon to open art and architecture gallery. Two dozen art world cognoscenti witnessed the Korea based troupe's shamanistic blessing of the now sacred cultural space, the latest addition to Gallery Row. We downtowners were also entertained by one of the more unique - and entertaining - performances seen in these parts since Tom Mix rode his horse into the lobby of the near-by Alexandria Hotel and performed rope tricks.
We now return you to our normal programming...
